GUIDELINES FOR CHECK-IN

The following are suggestions which will make your departure formalities easier. For most flights out of Ghana, the check-in counter opens in the afternoon.

It is expedient to ensure that you have checked-in a least 2 hours before the departure time. We recommend that you check-in early to avoid congestion during peak hours (between 6- 8pm).

Before gaining entry into the Departure Hall, your ticket and passport will have to be examined. Please corporate and show this to security personnel at the entrance.

It is necessary that your baggage goes through customs/security examination. Customs can be located to your immediate right as you enter the Departure Hall.

Baggage stickers marked “Customs” are fixed on all Custom examined baggage.

You will then convey your luggage to the Check-in counter. Please read the different tags above each Check-in counter or ask security personnel on duty to ensure you are at the right Check – in counter. Here your passport and ticket will be checked and your luggage weighed and tagged ready to be checked-in for loading onto aircraft.

Some airlines may request to check your hand luggage to ensure that it weighs no more than the allowed 10kg.
Please ensure that your luggage is correctly tagged to your final destination.

Remember to collect your boarding pass and your ticket.
Please note that Check –in closes one hour before departure.
