As the first black African colony to achieve Independence from the British, Ghana stands dedicated to the ideals of Pan-Africanism, and is home to famous Pan-Africanists such WEB Du Bois, and George Padmore. The Mausoleum of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah stands as a strong memorial of the call to oneness of the Continent.
